Click For Info – Why You Should Include an Explanation in Your Links

Some links use the word “here” instead of “click” to obscure what the user is actually clicking. Rather than leaving the user guessing what they’re clicking, include the explanation in the text surrounding the link. But a long, verbose text surrounding a link will slow down the user. Click for info links allow you to skip this. They don’t have all the words necessary to explain what the link is about.
